The Power of #OxiCleanChallenge: A Mom of Boys Dream + #Giveaway

As a mom, I hate to admit when it comes to taking any stains out of my boy’s clothes, I’m an instant failure – I would much rather go out and buy another article of clothing than trying to get a stain out. Laundry is definitely not my forte.

Being a mom of boys is messy! They pee on the toilet seat, use their clothes as napkins and get “rough & tumble” on the ground all the time. So, when I was asked to use the stain fighting power of OxiClean pre-treaters and in-wash stain fighters in a monthly challenge – naturally, I jumped at the chance. I may go out and buy my kids new clothes when they’re stained but it doesn’t mean I want to, it’s just easier.

Introducing the #1 stain fighter brand in Canada

After taking the Power of OxiClean challenge exclusively for one month, here are my findings:

Pizza sauce, chocolate, regardless of the stain, when I used OxiClean Max Force Spray on their clothes, I only had to wash it once. Depending on the stain this should be sprayed anywhere from 5 minutes to a week before you throw the article of clothing in the wash. Bloggers note: I usually do all the laundry in one day but I always spray OxiClean Max Force Spray on the stains before my kids throw their clothes in the hamper despite what day of the week it is to make sure the treatment has enough time to set.

For an even more powerful duo I use OxiClean Max Force Spray and OxiClean Max Force Foam together – the foam penetrates fibers and dissolves the greasiest of stains. Buh-bye taco grease!

OxiClean helped my colour clothes stay bright and vibrant for the entire month thanks to the colour-safe brighteners and tough stain fighter duo of Colour Shield Laundry Stain Remover.

I was able keep my whites looking 40% better than bleach does and not the drabby grey that usually happens over time from being washed excessively because OxiClean White Revive Laundry Stain Remover has powerful whitening and brightening agents that didn’t damage my clothes and make them look worn out.

The two shirts I did my main tests on and had the kids wear as much as possible still look as new as they did the day we first got them.

I’m sure you could imagine just how cringe-worthy my boy’s clothes can get after running errands, playing outside and of course, eating…all in just one day.  From what I hear, the battle never ends, even as teenagers, the grass stains, and who-knows what other kinds of stains will continue. Ugh…I shudder at the thought!
