Chocolate Covered Rice Krispie Easter Nests
Easter treats have got to be my favourite kind of treat. I know I say that all the time with every holiday; Christmas, Halloween, Mother’s Day…in all honesty if there’s any kind of baking involved, it’s my favourite.
For your information ‘which holiday I like more’ has nothing to do with the actual baking. I hate that part; actually it stresses me the [insert expletive here] out.
It’s because no matter how much my mind is telling me I shouldn’t and my waist line is screaming “Don’t you dare pick up that treat.”, I get to eat my yummy creations after and that in itself is enough reason for every holiday to be my favourite.
If the seasonal treat in question is easy to make too that just makes it extra delicious.
These Chocolate Covered Rice Krispie Easter Nests are simple and tasty making them the perfect stress-free dessert to make.

I really love this idea and how easy there are to make! My son, who has food allergies, can enjoy these. 🙂

That’s one reason why I made these, my son’s best friend has a peanut allergy. Now that they’ve been tested and the kids love them I may be making them for the class.

This is the first time I’ve ever seen these made with a chocolate frosting. How did you get the chocolate on the entire treat?
Amanda Komoski
It was actually easier than I thought it would be - I used a fork to first dip it into the melted chocolate and rolled it around a little, when the chocolate started to run out I used a spoon to pour it on until completely covered.
