Banana Berry Bliss Smoothie with Coconut Water
I’ve recently decided to cut down my refined sugar intake and besides my morning coffee, I’m down to none. This is proving to be quite difficult for two reasons:
- I get bored very easily eating the same thing over and over.
- As the new book, Sugar Free: The Complete Guide to Quit Sugar & Lose Weight Naturally, I just bought points out; I’m extremely addicted to sugar.
“My name is Amanda and I’m a sugar-holic.”
The phrase mentioned above comes as no surprise to me, it’s something that I’ve struggled with for a long time. The more I deprive myself of it the more I crave it.
Having something to drink that will satisfy my sweet tooth and be good for me is exactly what I need.

I’m definitely going to try this one when I have berries on hand. This morning I made one with banana, avocado, pineapple, yogurt, vanilla and coconut water.

I have also just recently had to cut down on my sugar, salt and carbo intake due to extremely high blood pressure (OK and overweight), so have just started using a new blender 4 days ago..with no prior knowledge or recipes…thank you, this looks very delicious and healthy
