As many of you know, we just moved into our very first house in July. We have lived in numerous apartments but this is the very first (and maybe the last house) that is ours!

Now, in all the apartments we’ve lived in we’ve put the occasional hole in the wall from hanging pictures of our boys, usually, just the school photos or pictures from family outings we thought were decent enough for a 5×7 photo or smaller to display but nothing that we NEEDED to have any bigger. Until my mother-in-law (who is a professional photographer) surprised me with a photo shoot of the boys while I was at work.

When we moved into our house I knew I just had to have one of the poses hanging on the wall in some kind of fine art product – I just wasn’t sure if I wanted a Canvas Print or a Metal Print. Whenever, I review a service I like to get the full effect, with no favouritism just because I’m going to be telling the world my thoughts. So, I ordered my product just as anyone else would through the Posterjack website:

• I selected the product and size I wanted to order (in this case it was an 24×16)
• uploaded my image and cropped to my liking
• chose a Float Mount for hanging it on the wall to make things easier for ourselves

I assumed because of the holiday season and the type of print I was ordering it would take at least 2 weeks to receive my HD Metal Print but I was pleasantly surprised to see that the entire transaction took a total of 10 days; I ordered my print on November 10th, it was shipped on the 15th and I received it on the 10th.

Of course, I tore into my package right away and I was so happy with my selection – the blues and greens turned out so vibrant and bright, it was almost like I was staring right at my boys lying on the grass and not a picture of them. It is by far my favourite piece of art and I cannot wait until my husband paints so that I can show it off to anyone who comes into our home!
