The Seventh Dwarf DVD #Giveaway
Fairy tales are full of evil villains, fairies, princes and princesses…but what about the trusty sidekicks or in most cases the underdogs?
We never hear too much about them. We don’t get that up-close and personal feeling as we do with the heroes and the villains of the stories. I kind of feel sorry for the fairy godmother, the woodsman, Flounder and all of the other equally important characters that nobody really cares about just because there not the beautiful damsel in distress or the handsome brute who saves her.
After all they’re a part of the story line therefore they’re just as important, right? You’d think so.
I think this is why I am so fond of The Seventh Dwarf from Shout Factory as it gives us an exclusive look at the seven dwarfs.
The Seventh Dwarf
Join all seven dwarfs for an adventure as big as they are small! It’s the eve of Princess Rose’s 18th birthday. Everyone in the kingdom has come to Fantabularasa Castle to celebrate including Snow White, the Seven Dwarfs, Cinderella and Red Riding Hood. But just before the stroke of midnight Bobo, the youngest dwarf, accidentally pricks the finger of Princess Rose (a.k.a. Sleeping Beauty) with a cursed needle and sends the kingdom into a century-long slumber! To find Rose’s true love Jack to save her with a kiss, Bobo and the other six dwarfs must go on a treacherous journey, face a fiery dragon and outwit the jealous, scheming and evil witch, Dellamorta!
We enjoyed this movie very much that even Colton watched and stayed quite long enough for us to revel in the magic which all fairy tales bring.
The Seventh Dwarf cast includes voices from Peyton List (Emma from Family Channel’s popular show Jessie), Norm McDonald, Nina Hagen and Joshua Graham and is available for purchase on iTunes. Want to stay up-to-date on all of the great titles that Shout Factory has to offer? Make sure you like them on Facebook and follow them on Twitter.
Now’s your chance to win. Giveaway open to Canada only and ends 09/7/15.
