Sneaking is the NEW Bingeing for Moms #StreamTeam

Alright, moms, it’s time to fess up because let’s face it, we’re as sneaky as they get. We sneak vegetables in our dinners. We sneak chocolate and other treats into our bellies when the kids aren’t looking. We sneak in ‘me-time’ any chance we get. Right?!
If you’re saying any different while reading this post, then clearly, your kids are standing over your shoulder and reading this too. In which case, I apologize for spilling your secret.
But let’s get real… If we told our kids there were vegetables in their food, even though they can’t see or taste them, they’d start fake gagging and claim they were no longer hungry. If we told them we had chocolate or other sweets, we’d have to share. If we told them we were going to relax they’d start screaming, fighting and destroying the house more than they already had.
Therefore, we’ve got to be a little devious sometimes, for the sake of our families. If that means grabbing my headphones, sitting on the bathroom floor and watching an episode of Wentworth while my son is in the tub or bingeing some Nashville on Netflix while the kids are playing in the backyard and ‘think’ I’m working, well then I’m going to be as sneaky as I can to get in some me-time.
I’m not the only on either, 58% of Canadian moms admit to sneaking in some me-time any chance they get. After all, sneaking is the new binging and we’re better parents because of it. Right?!
How do you sneak in me-time? What are you currently binge watching on Netflix?

I sneak me time in when my boys are in bed. It’s almost impossible to do while they are awake. I love watching OITNB on Netflix.

I’m not sneaky at all, you see I don’t have to be since I’m on my own I can watch what I want when I want, go to the bathroom on my own, have a decent telephone conversation without interruptions, get up whenever I like - the peace and quiet is endless after all 7 kids left home. 🙂

I love watching Netflix, sometimes I end up binge watching instead of sneaking.
