SHAW Go Helps Save My Sanity With Treehouse and YTV Apps

          As you may have seen me mention on Twitter once, twice or even a gazillion times…  I love Treehouse and YTV.  Not just for the entertaining, educational shows and catchy theme songs, but mainly because without them I wouldn’t get anything done!  My house would be a mess, my family would never eat (unless it consisted of sticking it in a microwave) and I could forget about having anytime to relax.  With there being almost a 5 year gap between my two boys they can never agree on a show…  Not that Colton (15 months) can talk yet or argue about anything but he can choose to destroy the house when I’m not looking, instead of sitting nicely and watching what his brother chooses and of course Lucas being a big 5 year old doesn’t want to watch a ‘baby’ show (as he tells me constantly).  Although when he doesn’t think I’m watching he will stop on Treehouse as he makes his way to YTV.

          I was sent an email from Shaw Communications telling me that there was a Shaw Go Treehouse and Shaw Go YTV app available for my phone I couldn’t wait to to get my hands on them.  Both apps will give Shaw Cable and Shaw Direct Subscribers access to some of their children’s favorite shows anytime, any place they want - such as Dora, The Backyardigans and Sponge Bob SquarePants  just to name a few.  The Shaw Go apps are available for all iOS and Android devices and the best part is they are absolutely FREE for Shaw customers!

• Intellegent Streaming - best video quality at any connection up to 720p HD 
• Video Bookmarking with Progress Bars - no time to finish watching…  No problem stop the video and come back to it later without missing a second
• Airplay - stream audio and video on to your Apple TV

          Shaw has thought of everything including a FAQ page right in the app, so you don’t have to go chasing around for the answers you need and a Feedback Portal so you can let them know exactly what you think.  The Treehouse and YTV apps are just the start of it because in the next few months Shaw will continue to expand the experience with more choices.

           Now my boys no longer have to fight over the TV…  They have switched to fighting over my phone instead.  Just kidding!  Seriously, though this app has made it easier for me to get things done; not only at home with no complaints but also while we’re out and about trying to finish all of the last minute Christmas shopping stops.
