Pyjama Hunt

Every year for Christmas I make my boys up a ‘beauty pack’ as one of their gifts - filled with all of their bath essentials, socks, undies and a pair of pyjamas.  Well every one must have been buying size 6 because every single store I went to was completely sold out.  At first I was looking for some form of super hero set and than I was at the point where I didn’t even care as long as I had something.  No such luck!

Two days before Christmas and there I am with pyjamas for Colton but not Lucas with no way to get anywhere else to look for some.  I had to call on my last resort…  My husband usually only participates in choosing which toys and games to get but never in the picking out of clothing when it comes to the gifts.   However, this year I had no choice but to send him on a pyjama hunt and ask him for his help in circling the stores on his lunch hour, I told him “I don’t care what they look like, just get something”.  Luckily for me, my absolute favorite children’s clothing store Carter’s is in the same parking lot as his place of business and he managed to find not only one but two pairs of pyjamas in the size that we needed.  The best part of his pyjama hunt is he spent less than $20 between the two sets and bought the boys matching onesies that have got to be the cutest things EVER!

Apparently they are “the warmest, comfiest things ever” because Lucas wanted to where them Christmas Eve, Christmas Day (all day not just the morning) and if it weren’t for the fact that we forgot his pair at his Nana and Papa’s house he wanted to where them on Saturday when we celebrate Christmas one last time this year with his other Nana and Papa.

What do you think?  Did my husband succeed in his pyjama hunt?
