PLAYMOBIL DREAMWORKS DRAGONS


If you are a follower of The Mommy Mix you may remember when we reviewed PLAYMOBIL’s hit Dreamworks Dragons theme back in October of 2017. The boys (and our cats) had a lot of fun flying around in Drago’s Ship and battling it out with the different characters; including Toothless, Berk, Astrid & Gobbler.

Well, this time around the Dragons are back with four new playsets:

  • Gobber the Belch with Sheep Sling
  • Snotlout & Hookfang
  • Fishlegs & Meatlug
  • Ruffnut & Tuffnut with Barf & Belch

First off, where do they come up with these names? They are hilarious and probably one of the reasons my boys love them so much!

Gobber the Belch with Sheep Sling playset can be played with on its own or if you can combine it with one of the others. Drago Racing is a new sport, thought up by none other than the famous Berk. Vikings & dragons have banded together to see who can catch the most sheep and drop them in their branded baskets after Gobber shoots them off with the sheep sling.

Set includes Gobber, sheep catapult, marked baskets, two white sheep, one black sheep, and lots of other accessories.

There is no Viking and dragon combination that can be more different than Snotlout & Hookfang but when it matters most they come together and become fierce warriors, especially when they’re defeating the enemies of Berk.

PLAYMOBIL DINOS

Oh my gosh, you guys the Hidden Temple with T-Rex playset is PHENOMENAL!!!

This was the last set we received from PLAYMOBIL and it just so happens to belong to the new Explorer theme. As soon as the boys saw it they had to rip the box apart and put it together! The coolest factors that my kids couldn’t wait to show me (no really, they even made me stop making supper to come to check it out) are:

  • the laser gun has an LED light that will light up and flicker red for about 8 seconds. IMG_74011.jpg
  • the freight pulley allows the three (included) explorers to bring their gear up to the observation tower. After all, it’s kind of hard to bring all that gear up when you’re climbing vines, right?!IMG_7386

With 121 pieces there is just so much fun to be had with this playset.
