Onion Turkey Burgers
style="text-align: left;">Last night I wanted to try something different but I was also craving a burger in a bad way. The only problem was, I didn`t have any ground beef… but I did have some ground turkey. So I figured what the hey, I have always wanted to try turkey burgers… Let me tell you they were juicy, delicious and they covered both of my cravings.
Ingredients
- 2 pounds of lean ground turkey
- 1 pouch of dry onion soup mix
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves of garlic finely chopped
- 1 1/2 Tbsp of soya sauce
- 1/2 Tbsp of worcestershire sauce
- 2 tsp of lemon pepper spice
Directions
- Be prepared to get nice and dirty, mix all of the ingredients together in a mixing bowl.
- Form 8 patties with your hands
- Spray your electric frying pan and heat on 325 degrees
- Fry burger patties for roughly 10 minutes on each side - if your like me and you want to make sure the inside is cooking just poke the pattie with a for a few times
- Load it with your favorites and enjoy!

That looks delicious! I’ve been a fan of the turkey burgers for a while now, they’re just so much healthier and I really like how they taste. I just can’t get the Mr. to switch over lol. So beef for him it is!

I used to eat turkey burgers all the time. Your recipe is really similar to mine except I throw in a bunch of oregano too. Thanks for making me hungry. Two more weeks until I can get a good burger and fries.

It’s definitely a new favorite in my house. My son says he likes them better than McDonald’s cheeseburgers and he loves those.

I guess I’m lazy, or go for easy…I usually buy frozen burgers for the BBQ. I really should try this…simple and a lot better for you, I’m sure.

I just love burgers in general, whether it be turkey, beef, venison, moose. Okay now I’m hungry LOL. I always use Lipton Onion soup mix and add it to the meat. It gives it that little extra zing and makes it so delicious. thank you for this 🙂
Amanda Komoski
It was my first time using that and I will definitely do it every time now.
