Old Fashion Banana Bread with Strawberry White Chocolate Glaze
Banana Bread is a favourite in our house. The kids love it and so do I, it makes the perfect snack after a long day at school or the office and an even yummier dessert with our Strawberry White Chocolate Glaze on top.
Banana Bread Ingredients
1/2 cup butter- 3/4 cup golden yellow sugar
- 3 bananas, pieces
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking soda

Strawberry White Chocolate Glaze Ingredients

- 1 oz. white chocolate, chopped finely
- 30 ml strawberry jam
- 1 tbsp. butter
- 1 cup icing sugar
- 2 tbsp. milk

Directions

- 1.Preheat oven to 350°. .
- 2. In a mixer, blend butter and sugar together. Add beaten eggs and banana pieces.
- 3. In a seperate bowl combine flour, salt and baking soda. Add dry mixture to wet mixture and continue mixing on low.
- 4. Pour mixture in a sprayed 8×8 dish and bake for 55 minutes. Take out and let cool for 10 minutes.
- 5. In a microwaveable bowl add chopped white chocolate, strawberry jam and butter. heat in microwave on 15 second intervals mixing in between until chocolate is melted. Add icing sugar and milk, keep stirring until evenly mixed.
- 6. Use a spoon to lightly sprinkle over banana bread.
- 7. Enjoy!
