Laver Au Naturel Review and #Giveaway

Who else is done with this weather?  I mean isn’t tomorrow supposed to be the first day of Spring.  I am sick of the snow that is melting one minute and than again and I am definitely sick of the cold weather that is making my skin dry and itchy and my lips chapped and scratchy.  Luckily for me Laver Au Naturel has provided me with a few products to help me get through this ‘dry patch’ - pun intended.

BEESWAX LIP BALM IN ORANGE SPLASH
Ingredients: Essential Oil, Macadamia Nut Oil, Beeswax, Cocoa Butter, Coconut Oil and Castor Oil.

I am forever applying lip balm to my chapped lips especially at this time of year when the air is cold and damp.  You never know when the dry, scratchy feeling is going to surface so I like to be prepared, sSome may say that I am a little obsessed; I have one in my purse, bathroom, bedroom and living room.  From the moment that I applied the Beeswax Lip Balm from Laver Au Naturel - which I would like to state was a good 2 hours before I went to sleep, I instantly fell in love with how soft it made my lips feel.  I couldn’t stop smooshing my lips together and when I woke up this morning I could still feel a tiny bit there, so I know it will last me a long time because I won’t have to keep re-applying it.
CALENDULA AND SHEA BUTTER - MOM AND BABY BALM
Ingredients: Shea Butter, Sweet Almond Oil, Calendula Oil and Vitamin E.
Having two babies hasn’t exactly left my body in the best shape.  In fact it’s the complete opposite, I have a million stretch marks or what my mom likes to call ‘natural tattoos’.  Although, I may not have had this during my pregnancies to help prevent them I am happy that I have them for next time (if there is a next time).  For the time being I will just have to slather it on my little ones skin to help prevent his skin from getting dry and itchy.
SOY MASSAGE CANDLE IN LEMONGRASS AND CORIANDER
Ingredients: Soy Wax, Hemp Seed Oil and Pure Essential Oils.
Out of the three products, this was the one that I wanted to try the most and it’s that I have yet to try.  I am a little intimidated by the fact that I have to melt the wax and it will be hot, even though that’s the point.  Not to mention, that I am rarely ever without my children and I don’t think it’s the best thing for me to be doing in front of them.  My 6 year old still doesn’t seem to understand the whole “Do as I say not as I do!” concept, even with an explanation.  For now, I will just have to wait until they go to bed early (like that will ever happen) and instead pull the candle out for a little smell every now and than to lift my spirits.

The products mentioned above are only a few that Laver Au Naturel has to offer.  They have a variety of all natural products for aromatherapy, bath/body, face, lips, baby and even men.  All of the items in the online shop are hand-crafted from scratch with the best quality in essential oils and botanicals from Canada.  I love that the website not only houses the shop but also a full list of ingredients and how to care for and store your products that you purchase. I think that Colleen, the owner has thought of everything when it comes to providing my family with a way to laver au naturel, which actually means to wash naturally.
Enter for a chance to win $50 worth of products from Laver Au Naturel.  Giveaway open to Canada and US residents ends 04/13.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for review purposes.  However, as always  all views and opinions are my own
