Ice Cream Cone Christmas Tree {Kid Friendly}
Now that the kids are on their Christmas breaks I thought that I would share this fun and yummy treat that my son made at school yesterday. All you need is:
- A paper plate - preferably white to look like snow
- Ice cream cones - the ones with the pointy bottoms not the flat ones
- Green icing - vanilla store bought is fine just had green food coloring
- Candy - whatever your little ones favorites are
Before you mix the food coloring into the icing put a little on the plate so the cone will stick to it; smother the cone in the green food coloring and than add the candies as desired.
These are so much easier to make than gingerbread houses that your children can do them all by themselves from start to finish and they are a lot easier to eat too.
Will you be making any crafts with your little ones this holiday season?

A friend of mine who volunteers at the nursery school came home with one of these the other day. She loved it. Great idea.

This is such a great idea and so much easier for little kids then the whole house.

My son would have so much fun doing this! He’s really young though…would probably make a huge mess. 🙁
