We may never forget the special times in our lives but our memories do tend to get buried in the back of our minds, stored in a special place so that we can make room for more recent ones. Being a photographer, I’ve been a part of many different scenarios that prove how precious giving the gift of an everlasting memory is to those you love. It’s just as they say…

The Acrylic Block which I created showcases my favourite wedding photo; I was 8 months pregnant and ready to pop, my oldest was 4 years old and wouldn’t let me and my husband have even a moment alone with each other. Although he’s not in this specific photograph every time I look at it I can’t help but smile, remembering that particular moment and that warm summer day surrounded by the ones we love.
I picked this particular pose not only because it’s my favourite but also because there’s just something about the colours - the green and the little purple flower in my hair, I knew they would come out vibrant and bright on the Acrylic Block. It’s so dazzling that even makes the hideous shelf my husband picked for our bedroom look good and the small format makes for an easy switch up to the top of my desk.
