Have your kids fallen for the surprise toy craze like my kids have? I don’t know about you but as a kid, I liked to know what kind of toy I was getting and that included what it looked like before I opened it. Now, kids are asking for toys that they can collect, even though they’re not sure if they already have the exact same toy that’s in the package, which they won’t know until they open it. Add some wrapping paper and you’ve just doubled the surprise and the excitement for your kids.

Treasure X is going to be a huge hit this holiday season for both kids and parents. My boys spent a good chunk of their night ripping, digging & chipping away at their Treasure X toy. Although, they didn’t find any teal gold they had fun cooperating and working together (which doesn’t happen very often) to find the fossils of an old skeleton pirate and the treasures he had hidden.

Robots have been around for a very long time but not a whole lot of them could talk to you or become your partner in crime. Really Rad Robots YakBot can answer your questions, you can record your voice, alter your voice with cool effects and pull pranks. My boys had a “blast” planking my husband and I, making us think that any second their Yakbot was going to blow up. Obviously, we knew it wasn’t, but they didn’t know we knew. At least I don’t think they did!

The boys enjoyed themselves so much with this toy that they might just find a Really Rad Robots MiBot under the tree this year.

Includes: 1 x YakBot, 2 x AAA batteries (I love when toys already come with batteries!), 1 x IM

Recommended for ages 5-9 (but again, my 10 almost 11-year-old thought it was fun). BUY IT HERE.

You may remember me writing about HEXBUG Gladiators last year and how your kids fighting it out in the arena was better than them fighting in real life. I may have also mentioned a thing or two about HEXBUG BattleBots. Well now, after the kids received the HEXBUG BattleBots Arena Pro for review a few months ago they have made it back on the wish list for another year.

After suiting (building their own BattleBots) up their remote control bots my boys let their frustrations out in the battle arena. They also like to have them zip around the house bumping into things, including the cats. They have also figured out how to prank each other by switching the remote control channel. Luc will switch his channel to Colt’s and take control of his BattleBot. That’s when I may have to referee and tell them to take their verbal fight to the arena!

Recommended for ages 8+ (my 6-year-old needed a little help building but could definitely hold his own in a battle). BUY IT HERE.
