Finally, after a winter that seemed to last FOREVER Spring is here. For my husband and I, that means all kinds of home improvement projects are on the horizon. Last year we;
- ripped out our entire front yard which was full of random perennials and covered it with grass seed
- put up new screen doors
- changed our outside lights
- built a fire pit in our backyard
This year we plan to:
- rebuild our front steps
- fix a window
- plant some tulips
- completely redo our bathroom
- paint the entire inside of our house
- make a coat rack with a bench out of pipe and wood
Thankfully, my husband is very handy and really good at DIY projects – I mean, he’s already fixed our entire shed with pallets that I was able to get from work and it didn’t cost us a cent. Free labor and free product are amazing but this doesn’t happen all time. More often than not these home improvement projects cost money, lots and lots of money.

We need someone to get our lawn back to a normal look. Grub treatment is so costly but we really need it done as well as some topsoil laid down and reseeding. I would use it for this and make my hubby really happy.
