Back to School Blast $1000 Visa Gift Card Giveaway
Welcome to the Back to School Blast!
Getting your family prepared to head back to school, can be difficult especially after a long, fun-filled summer. Here are a few of our favorite Back to School Tips to help you along the way.
1. Back-to-School Supplies Checklist - Backpack? Check. Pencils? Check. Safety scissors? Not Yet. Use the same checklist each time you head out to grab supplies, to keep track of what you have already purchased and the things you still need to. These are also handy if you have more than one child. Simply print 2, 3, 4 list and add their name to the top.
2. There is no need to go fancy with the school supplies before the end of the first month they will have already lost a few pens and pencils or let another classmate borrow something only to never see it again.
3. Label everything with your child’s name from there shoes to there boxes of kleenex for those days when things get ‘misplaced’.
4. Talk to and encourage them for those of you who may have children just starting school for the first time and may be a little scared.
5. No matter how prepared you think that your child may be when it comes to strangers or peer pressure situations make sure you have that talk again.
The Back to School Blast was organized by Mom Powered Media.

Purchase your back to school shoes early. Too often, the size you are searching for is gone in the style you like.

If bedtimes are later during the summer, get everyone back on scheduling starting two weeks and no less than one week ahead of time. It’ll make getting up that first day easier.

That is definitely on my agenda…
