Spring is here, folks! Yesterday, we hit double digits for the first time this year and that means it’s time to start thinking of all the Spring Home Improvement Projects that I want to conquer.

Do-it-yourself projects not only give you a great sense of accomplishment and pride knowing you created something with your own two hands, they also save you a ton of money. Last fall, my husband designed and made our backyard firepit on his own and it saved us hundreds of dollars. This year, he plans to redo our front stairs, make a raised vegetable garden bed with pallets, a coat rack with pipes and plywood and hopefully redo our entire bathroom. Wish us luck!
