Boozy Pink Flamingo Ice Pops

Nothing tells your taste buds it’s summer more than a delicious fruity sangria or a tropical cocktail. Unless of course, it’s transformed into an easy-to-make alcoholic popsicle. Savor your summer concoctions by sucking out the sweet juices rather than sipping them on a hot day.


Next time you’re at the lake or having friends over for a BBQ make these Boozy Pink Flamingo Ice Pops the night before so you can cool off your guests and WOW them at the same time. Don’t worry, if you’re going to have some tiny party-goers, these pops can easily be converted to a non-alcoholic recipe without losing its fruity flavour just by omitting the rum and the vodka.

Yields: 6 large ice pops

INGREDIENTS

  • 6 oz. pineapple juice
  • 6 oz. cranberry juice
  • 12 oz. Sprite
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 2 shots (3 oz) Coconut rum
  • 1 shot (1.5 oz) Vanilla vodka (or plain)

    DIRECTIONS

    1. Combine all of the ingredients into a large pitcher and stir well.

    2. Pour the pink flamingo mixture into the ice pop molds. (It may be helpful to use a funnel). Leave a little room at the top of each mold for expansion during the freezing process.

3. Place the lids/sticks on tight and freeze overnight or for at least 6 hours.

4. Before serving, run warm water over the ice pop molds to release the pops.
